...who's there?

It's me, Elrondo.

First of all I was thinking about what kind of privat information I would share.

So, ich think just telling the truth how it is will be the best.

I'm 56 year old male from Germany.
Lovely married and raised 3 children.
I have been to hospital for about 4-6 Month every year since 2006.

Somewhen I had to find something train my mind and my hands.

I have been a musician but I'm no longer n the constitution to perform.

I started doing card-, coin- and some little props tricks.

It helps me a lot to deal with my mental and physical disorders.

About 5 years ago I started doing little close up acts in hospital going from room to room and try to spread a little fun.
So every time I have to go to hospital my "Magic Box" goes with me.

I think that's it for now.
Magic is good for your health 😊

Regards and my best whises to ya all of the magical community here.

Welcome Elrondo,

I certainly admire you for making the best of a bad situation.

Rubber band tricks can really put your hands into some different positions and could be therapeutic (also painful, so go easy on 'em).

Ring and Rope, String or Ribbon can make for a nice change and they are really addictive.

Best wishes Elrondo, I look forward to your posts.

Thank you Mary for your warm welcome and your suggestions.
Rubber band tricks sounds good to me. Havent thought about those till now.

Since a few weeks I'm totaly addicted to the 3 Coins trick, performed by Simon Coronel
with poker chips. It's just sleight of hands, but performed so cool and missleading.
I hope it's ok to share a link to one of his performances with the poker chips.

Looking forward to my posts would take a while. Lots to read here :)

Best wishes too

PS. Sorry for my very basic english

I'm glad you have something to help yourself. I like when magic entertains but love to hear it makes a difference in someone's life.

Guten Tag and hello to Colin, Aby and Steph and "Der Alte"

Thank you for all the good whises and positive comments.

It's a kind of magic or fate that I landed here in the Café.
There are also a few german forums but every time I was checking them I came back here to the
Café. Don't ask me why. Just felt that's the place to stop by and register.

Got lots of good hints and information.

Marys comment about the rubber band stuff was a good idea and now I'm sitting here with 4 pounds of rubber bands and downloaded a few J. Rindfleisch tricks and try to to explain my wife why I do need some thousands of rubberbands...gggggg

I shimmed a bunch of clay poker chips. So they are magnetic by themselves now.
Maybe somebody got a good idea for a good routine for em.
Using the different poles some quick fly moves shall be possible...

That's it for now. Going to count the rest of my rubberbands...2043...2044...2045

Take care and god bless
The rubberish Elrondo
