I don't know if this is where to put this, but anyway.

Does anyone know a source for the older style glass self-lighting bulbs?

I don't like the looks of the plastic ones, but that's all I see for sale.

I see Hocus Pocus has one for a reasonable price.

If the link doesn't work, put "light bulb" into their search and you'll find one about 3 products down.

One of my Dutch dealers recently developed one: https://www.dynamitemagic.nl/shop/en/mentalism/gimmicks/dynamite-ultra-light-by-dms

They also made a cheaper mini version: https://www.dynamitemagic.nl/shop/en/mentalism/gimmicks/dynamite-ultra-light-mini-vdeo-by-dms-4253

In "Light Bulb Magic" in The Wizards' Journal #33, I show my method for making REALLY bright LED bulbs that look like real glass bulbs, but which are actually made of plastic and can be manipulated like billiard balls, made to float, filled with liquid for Milk to Light Bulb etc. Currently working on a radio controlled circuit that can make the bulb turn on and off by remote control, but the non-electronic e-Book is ready now.

The company that made the old bulbs (Atomic Bulb) was located in Oklahoma. They seem to have gone out of business years ago.

I came up with this playing around:
