Topic: Pillars Of Thor ?

I never care about this trick and maybe never watched the video thinking "too obvious" :-)
Now that I watched the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt1lXDX9svQ&t=2s) I am getting more interested, seem like the old-Tenyo-style-clever-mechanism still available !

But I also read some comments about not beeing able to do it like the video...
12 years later, any positive review/comment ?

Thank you !

It's been a long time since I had this in my hands, bu why wouldn't it be possible to do it like in the video? It's a good trick, needs some practice though, but not difficult to perform at all.

Thank you Killertweety !
I don't know :-) I just read somewhere that someone cannot manage to do a move from a video...(don't know which one).

You CAN do it the way the Magician does it in the video.

To perform this effect well, one must not be too self-conscious and practice handling it for quite a while to get comfortable and to break it in.

I suggest that you carefully glue some bits of the cord to each surface to make it look realistic and convincing. Otherwise, I cannot see it fooling anyone.

There are some who have some awkwardness with alignment. This is easily avoided by having a rubber band around the end.
