Actually Tom, I just remembered that Chappy was pretty good friends with Scott Hitchcock out in Vegas. If you could get in touch with him you could get more info. I've lost his e-mail but I think you could get in touch with him through Denny and Lee's Vegas shop. The number is listed on Denny's website. . .www.dennymagic.com.

Don't call the Baltimore shop (unless you want to make an order, and I highly recommend him) but call the Vegas shop and ask for Scott or Joannie.

Good luck,

Mark

What is it that you want to know about Chappy? We knew each other in 1991. He was performing here in Singapore and I approched him after his show. He is a very very nice person. When I told him I'm a hobbist and wish to learn from him, he unselfishly took time off during his stay to meet up with me to teach me some trick. He was the one who taught me the bill switch.

Anyone who knows him all agree that he is a wonderful person. Oh, that's how I got my nickname for myself, not that I'm as good as he is though.

Sorry to hear that. I enjoyed his watch steal video. How and when did he die?

He was killed by a police officer in Las Vegas who was speeding to a crime and went over the double yellow line on a back street coming out of Caesars. Chappy was on his motorcycle and took the hit head on and didn't make it. The memorial was very nice and a lot of people showed up and shared stories about Chappy.
