Topic: Anyone recognize this?

Acquired a used lot of interesting items. Most I could identify but this item is a bit of a mystery. Nice heavy plastic box with an Oriental coin on the lid. The die is oversize with unusual rounded faces. I originally assumed it was a version of "Mental Die" but the die is not mis-shapen and gives no height clues when in the box. I have discovered the die has an internal slow moving weight similar to "Die A Bolic". It however does not look like any Die A Bolic die I have seen as they have flat faces. If anyone has any thoughts on trick name or maker would appreciate it.

Given the rounded edges and what you say about a moving weight, my guess would be that it's intended to rotate while in the closed container, perhaps to reveal a forced number. Is the material the box made of very smooth, perhaps machined teflon or nylon?

If that's it' however it doesn't seem very exiting; the only way a shifting weight would work to move the die is you turned the container to one side at least briefly to all the weight to shift to one side so it can then rotate.
