I live in Memphis and do not know of any illusion builders in Tennessee. If you do a web search you will find many. Try only the ones you can trust.I do build my own illusions now, if you need help with one maybe I can help. PM me if you want to talk. Daniel

Yes, George & I are friends, but I wanted to see what else was out their. Stuff you just can't find with normal searchs. Maybe Café' members that build? You know stuff that's out of the norm.

Thanks for the link anyway.

Having personally seen some of his work, may I recommend Bill Smith:

John Gaughan is one of my favorites, but can't find his website (if he HAS one)...next best is,

Jim Steinmeyer:

http://www.jimsteinmeyer.com

These are the best in the industry. I cannot recommend them more highly...

I happen to know that Chalet is getting ready to release a new one-man illusion I developed. If you're a friend of George's, ask him to see the prototype. ;)

Chris Murphy form OZ Illusions. One of the nicest guys I have ever met too. Works a lot with Mark Parker.

I own two illusions made by Bill Smith. One is Audience Dismember and the other is Twister. His workmanship is outstanding. I've owned illusions made by Owens that include Zig Zag, Hindu Basket and The Sub Trunk. They too make beautiful items.

Here's a fairly extensive list, with lots of active links. Den Dowhy created it on the KidAbra forum:

Don't forget Café member, Jack Murray, http://www.dream-illusions.com/

Many nice things have been said about his products here on the Magic Café.

Last time I spoke to George (just before the Kidabra Conference) he said he was committed to other projects until October and felt awful that he'd had no time to devote to the project. Hopefully it'll be out soon.

Not everyone will come up under the internet searches. Me for example. Though I build illusions I primarily make customize illusions. I most probably won't be on your lists. BTW, I'm in Pennsylvania.

Try Jim Thomson at Magic Maniacs. You will never meet a nicer guy. He builds many of Tony Clark's products and does a terrific job. http://www.magicmaniacs.com or (661) 297-7884 He's located in Valencia, CA.

Illusion craft in the UK is excellent, I have had 3 things off him and all are fantastic and at great prices not anything like American prices and the money you save on the illusion will pay for shipping and you will have some left over!! highly recommended and a real nice guy.
