Hey gang,

I know I'm always letting you know about the latest deck projects (I can't help it - playing cards are awesome!), but my pal Zak Mirzadeh has a new deck that will not only look good in your card collection, but will actually help the world be a better place. Read on...

Change Lives. End Slavery. - The Mirz Deck

Since my First Edition deck came out last year, I wanted to do something special for the Second Edition Deck. I wanted this project to be bigger than a deck of cards, while still being about the deck of cards itself.

For the last year, I've been working with an organization that fights to rescue kids out of human trafficking, and now you can help too. :)

So, on August 1st, The Mirz Deck: Second Edition will be released on Kickstarter. All Kickstarter funds will go toward the number of decks we can purchase from USPC. After Kickstarter, all proceeds from this project will go to fight human trafficking.

The reality is that most people don't feel like they're helping by donating $12. When someone receives a deck of cards as a reminder, they will never forget the impact they made.

I invite you to take part in this project. This isn't about me, or you. It's about getting men, women, boys, and girls delivered out of human trafficking.

Thank you so much.

Change lives. End Slavery.

We proudly present to you the second installment of the Mirz Playing Cards, a partnership with Hope for Justice.
After kickstarter, all proceeds of sales will go to fight human trafficking.

This edition will be printed by The United States Playing Card Company (USPCC).
The faces will be the USPCC standard, but will have pixilated Queens faces, custom Jokers, and two custom ad cards.

GILDED EDGES. Exclusive on Kickstarter for the first 96 hours!

Like our first edition, these cards will be traditionally cut and made of crushed stock to the thinnest caliber range for the smoothest handling for magicians and cardists alike.
The deck will also have the classic Air-Cushioned finish™.

The pattern on the card back is the logo of our partnership with Hope For Justice, a non-profit that is dedicated to ending human trafficking.
The custom Joker also features a dove. Dove releases have been around for thousands of years and many different cultures see a dove release as symbol of peace, love, innocence and freedom.

We brought back the same designer from the First Edition Deck, Aaron Dickey. We went back and forth on every little detail, and wanted the best possible product to put into this world. The tuck box is matte black with a dark red foil. Nothing is printed on the box, just the foil. The front has the Hope For Justice Dove Logo and the back has an unlocked lock. Whenever Hope For Justice saves someone out of human trafficking, they put an unlocked lock on their wall.

We originally wanted to find 4 women in trafficking and put their faces on the Queens. But, lives would have been in danger as traffickers are continually looking for those who have escaped their grip.
To honor the women who have been, and still are, exploited, we have pixilated the Queens faces.

Below are the two ad cards. One is a double backer.
The other is designed to help spot the signs of human trafficking so that more lives can be saved.

THE STORY...

From the first edition, our story hasn't changed. It's the same. We are the change we want to see.

After Kickstarter, ALL PROCEEDS from this deck will go to Hope For Justice.

Change lives. End Slavery.

ATTENTION: 100% of the Kickstarter campaign funds will go to produce as many MIRZ Decks as possible.
AFTER KICKSTARTER, 100% of proceeds will go to fight human trafficking. With your pledge, this project will go all across the globe and create awareness for this issue.

This Second Edition Deck has already been approved by The United States Play Card Co.
The biggest risk we face is not raising enough funds to put this into the world. With your help, we can make this happen. The more money we raise, the higher quantity of decks we can purchase at a lower cost.

Once the Kickstarter is over, we will begin production, and the second edition deck should be at your door right before Christmas. The timing is perfect as January is human trafficking awareness month, and you will have made a difference.
