Hey everyone, I'm working on a project that requires a ball to float under a cloth like in this video.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if instructions or gimmicks are available for purchase. I did come up with my own method, however it uses a BA backdrop and I want the flexibility to do this trick without one.

DM me if you would like to know my method/ idea.

I don't know if there are any instructions for that specific floating ball effect available for purchase. It looks like an original routine that she has worked out herself using known principles of levitation. There is literature available on various floating ball methods.

Jonah, yes there are Floating Balls for stage available for purchase on the magic market.

Just not this one, as in my opinion, with a little knowledge, it is easy to see how this was accomplished. So whoever she hired or influenced to design this illusion for here, had taken a simple method for the Floating Ball, and combined it with an Illusion Box like Bump in the night illusion and you have something very different with a surprising ending. Stage Illusions require a lot of assistants, and a grand stage setting.

So no, as she said, it was built just for her. Not anyone else. If she did not win Britain's Got Talent, then maybe she would sell it for 10 thousand British sterling Pounds. All illusions are very expensive to have built, especially when you want a custom design.

Here is some Floating Ball effects for stage work:

Thanks David and Bill, I am aware of the 50 posts to access the "Secret Sessions". I have been reading on here for a couple of years now, and have just now been able to make an account (due to getting a new email and the registration opening again).
I use the disco ball method to open my stage show, and I love it. I'll have to check out ORB, I've been playing around with the idea of having a glowing ball of energy float out of a power generator. (I do a lot of Steampunk stuff in my shows)
