I recently bought my first stripper deck on a whim. Not something I really messed with much before. I've primarily focused on regular decks. What are your favorite tricks with this? Links to tutorials if you have them? Or at least performances?

My mind immediately goes to performing the works easiest version of the Triumph effect. Look up any Triumph performance and the method of doing it with a stripper deck will probably be immediately apparent.

Here is a good place to start. For short money this can't be beat!

I'm not sure, but I might have that exact video. I'll have to dig through my magic DVDs later to confirm. If it's the video I'm thinking of, it's a great one.

It's good to be reminded of that video by Daryl.

Asi Wind has a trick called the xy deck that he teaches for free somewhere on his website - it doesn't use a stripper deck but it can be easily adapted to one if you can manage how the spectators shuffle. The amazing trick that separates the reds and blacks.

You can do 4 ace productions from a shuffled deck, or even control a whole stack of cards. Another Café member TH10111 posted a blog a few months ago about stripper stacks which is worth checking out - https://th10111.wordpress.com/2020/09/28/heads-up-stripper-stack-for-texas-holdem/

If you go into the Café search you'll find him

A thread title like this must really make people unfamiliar with card magic wonder what we're talking about... :)

Chapter 15 of Jean Hugard Encyclopedia of Card Magic has a bunch of tricks that you can breeze through. You can also get this book for dirt cheap used if you're willing to do that and in the states.

Lessons by Daryl are always top notch. This is also a good option. I wonder what Oz is up to these days.
