Topic: Reference for a Peek/Control Technique

Hi all.
Actually they are two different techniques for different purposes, but the two procedures are almost identical.

The performer fans the deck face-down. The spectator touches the chosen card and the performer secretly bends its left lower corner with the left thumb while the faces are displayed to the spectator. You can make a severe crimp in order to see the index of the card or a light crimp in order to control the card later.

Can you help me to find the names and references for these two techniques?

Thank you
