Topic: Creating a routine

Hi fellow magicians. I am trying to put together a routine and I would like a natural flow in the routine. So this is what I have come up with:

- Cards ( 2-3 not ordinary pick a card tricks)
- Coins ( C/S/B + 3 fly + charming chinese challenge )
- which leads me to rope magic ( linking ropes, C&R rope, Professors nightmare)
- finish with the old classic Cups & Balls, maybe with a chop cup routine ?

My idea is a patter about cards beeing most interesting for the magician, but money is interesting for everybody. Then after the chinese challenge I am already in the string/rope section, and tell them that the finale is the oldest trick in magic ; the C&B.
I feel this is a natural progression, but I am not sure I should start with cards. What do you think? I plan a 15 min. performance.

What's the venue? How many spectators? Do you know these people? Do they know you? What do you want them to see first? What impression do you first want to make?

You may be able to do 15 minutes without cards. I like cards, but I'm hesatant to open with them...even jumbo cards...
