Hi, I've heard a lot about the magic of Fred Kaps but am not familiar with his work. Has anyone viewed the recent DVD's on Kaps? How is it? Would you recommend it? Thank you!

I saw a review for the Fred Kaps DVD in a Genii Magazine recently.

In Magic Magazineīs September Issues 2004 you can find a big article about the famous Fred Kaps:

"John Fisher profiles the legendary Fred Kaps, explaining why The Professor called Kaps "the greatest exponent of sleight of hand I have known."

Yo can buy that back issue here for only 9 dollar:

I have some contact with Fred Kaps friend: The great close up magician Ed Taytelbaum and he lives in Holland and have many interesting stories about the legendary Fred Kaps. Ed won Micromagie at FISM 1955 in Amsterdam plus he won card magic at FISM 1958 in Vienna.

This is a performance only dvd... it is still worth it, but I thought I would mention it just in case others go out and buy the dvd expecting it to be instructional.
