Topic: New Auction Site

Hello all...

I don't know if I can post this or not, I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

Anyway - I created a new auction site designed only for Magic Items. No outrageous listing fees and no percentage of the sale. If you want to be some of the first people to sell on it... It's free to post until the first of the year. Then it goes up a whopping $5 per item.

Anyway...Let me know what you guys think.

There can be only one

One Café,
One Ebay,
One Amazon Books
One Magic Auction

All others strive to compete.

I have always believed variety is the spice..of a good deal :)
You need a cool header graphic. Do ya want a FREEBIE? Let me know the name and I will whip you up a super cool logo...just because it's Christmas :)

Only One? Ok...so that means there can be only one Copperfield, one houdini, etc. Why strive to be better? Sounds like a defeatist attitude.

I just can't see paying more to list an item than what it sells for.

Not a bad idea, and I'm not trying to knock your site, but why would anyone even pay 5.00 per item. I have sold many items right here on the Café for free. At 5.00 an item it would have cost me about 150.00-200.00 to sell as much as I have here for free. Good start though, you have to start somewhere. Hope your site goes well and you get more people registered

The fee would be to help maintain the site until I get sponsors. Once the sponsors come on board (any interested please contact me ) I hope to vanish the fee (using my favorite method).

It is my goal to help make buying magic through on-line auctions easy, with an easy to navigate website with realtime updates and information.

Please keep in mind that the other magic auction site charges a sales commission to an item that sells over the minimum sell price. There will never be a commission on Magic Hat Auctions.

What are all the the magic auction sites? Does anyone know?
