Hi everyone,
I just found this site a couple days ago, and like a good book, I haven't been able to put it down yet! This site is great! My name is Jeff, and I have been doing magic for about 12 years now, with a few years off in the middle. I've joined a local IBM ring in Pittsburgh, PA, and mostly like doing close-up and parlor magic. I am a pastor of a local church, and use gospel magic in many of my children's messages and other presentations. I've been thrilled with this Café so far and look forward to learning more! |

Welcome aboard, Jeff.
The great thing about this board is that we have people here of all ages, all backgrounds, and all skill levels. And, even more importantly, we are all ready to share what we can. |

Anyway, the type of magic I enjoy most is impromptu close-up, with parlor magic as a close second. Much of what I do is also gospel magic, but that is mostly regular magic that I adapt to have a gospel or Biblical message. Check out some of my posts! I've got a routine for the Soldier's Prayerbook that uses the whole deck. PM me and I'll share it with you. Looking forward to more magic - Jeff |

Glad to have you here. I hope that you will continue to enjoy your visits, and will contribute your insights on performing Magic. Pittsburgh has produced the likes of Paul Gertner. Sounds like you have an active Ring there.
All the best, Vic
