I want to buy a replica. Anyone know where I might find one? (I didn't see any on eBay).

Someone, somewhere had probably done a solid prop version in resin.

I bought James Bond 007 Nightfire for GameCube. It has a golden gun in it. I think that's the closest I'll ever come.

Did a little research.
SD Studios (long out of business) put out a limited edition (7,500) replica of the gun, which was actually gold plated and dissembled into the 'innocent' components like the original prop. Collectors pay huge prices for one when it turns up. For reference, I found a link that describes it and the component used to create it, along with photos: http://members.aol.com/d1ve/bond.html If you cannot find a replica, perhaps you can construct one. MAke one.
The "real" one is a zippo lighter, a pen and a cigarette case. |

Actually, it was made by Colibri Lighters. There were three. Christopher Lee got to keep one, one of them was smashed during filming and the last one ended up in a collection somewhere.
