This is a riddle used to find psychopatic personalities and such:
A woman goes to her mothers funeral. At the funeral she sees a man that she has never met or seen in her entire life and instantly falls in love with him. The next day she kills her sister. Why? |

A: She meets her Sister's Husband who she has never met or seen before. They fall in love and she kills her sister to be with him.
B: Her sister got a sex-change and she didn't find out until after she was in love with "him". Out of confusion she kills her sister. C: If she is really a psychpath, she just killed her sister for the fun of it |

I got dizzy thinking about that one.
Guess I need psychopath lessons.

Maybe she and her sister look similar or identical. If that guy likes her looks he surely also likes her sister's look. So kill the sister to get rid of the competition.

I just told this problem to my wife and she suggested that the woman killed her sister hoping to see the man at her sister's funeral.
Should I be scared? /Tomas |

By all statistical accounts Tomas yes. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Oh.... you left out the key element of the story... no wonder:
"However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was." That is kinda the key part! |

To be honest I've never heard it told with that part in it. The explanation that I've received is that she assumes if he showed up for her mother's funeral he'll be back again for the sister's.

Did some research, sorry, psychopaths are not so simpleminded.
Perhaps one wrote that riddle to look for easy marks?

The man she sees is her sisters husband. They are identical twin sisters and haven't seen each other for years so she has never seen him before. She instantly falls in love with him - perhaps identical twins have the same tastes in men, who knows.
She goes home, writes a suicide note..."The loss of my beloved mother is too much for me. So long cruel world." She invites her sister over to discuss what happens now mum has gone. When she arrives she kills her, switches clothes and puts the suicide note in her lifeless hand. She then goes back to her waiting husband and assumes her sisters identity for the rest of her life. Easy. |
