I am sure most of you going to Blackpool have already booked your accomodation, however I was fooled by my frends who told me they would sort it out,but ended up nothing done. So,could anyone tell me where else I could stay in Blackpool near to the convention since I am going there for the whole weekend.I am on shoe strings and don't mind sharing room,so please tell me if you are cool or help me to sort out the accomodation problem.
Cheers, MagoXXXx

Mago, I am staying at a hotel/b&b called the Oak Lea. It is on the Albert Rd, literally around the corner from the Winter gdns. (3-5mins walk, depending on your speed!) its about or just under 30pounds per night - so I expect to pay no more than 90 and no less than 75.
Look on http://www.Blackpoolhotel.com this link gives you a list of areas in BP,look for CENTRAL as the hotels there are very close for the weekends frolics. p.s. try even http://www.theoaklea.com (I Think). Alan

Phone up the tourist information centre or like Alan said have a look on the web. Try and stay near to the winter gardens as there is always something on and you will also have the advantage of meeting other magicians who you share the hotel with,

Sorry guys I was in Vegas and then went to the convention so didn't have a chance to look at my emails.
My friend Peter book my room and it was a bargin, £18:00p a night. The shower wasn't too good but I've stayed in worse for more, I'll get the name for you guys for next year, Diane |
