Does anyone use any of the "various sundry gaff coins" in Bobo's?
I have the nickel to half from Johnson. Have never seen a cluster of coins or a ring coin or any of the others. Has anyone made these or had them made? Does anyone use them live?
...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.

Sorry, I haven't heard of them, but if you have plans, it is fairly easy to make gaff coins with a dremel tool, or if you have your own idea for a gaff coin, you can make a prototype with the dremel tool.

I've tried work with a coin ring. I am thinking of putting a magnet in a ring, wearing it while doing some coin whatnot, then getting a mag-na-coin out and use it as a coin-ring idea.
Just ideas. -Casey |

I bought a coin ring from Collector's Workshop many years ago. At least that's what it looked like, a ring with coins soldered to it. It made a nice transition from penny to nickel to quarter and back again. The down side was the bad angles and having to keep my fingers tightly pinched together to prevent the ring from showing. It soon made it's way into my "magic drawer" of unused gimmicks.

I've got a coin ring: fine transposition from 1 Euro to 50 cent to 5 cent. I always let the spectator cover my hand whilst turning the ring. I like it. I made myself a second one with 3 magnets on it and use this one with 3 magnetic 50 cent coins, nice.

Tommy Downs was said (by Vernon) to use a coin gaff later in his life. It was a ring/clip that could hold a stack of coins. I have always wanted to have one. It would be used in lieu of palming. And could hold the coins either on the palm side or back of the hand.

with a coin ring holder you could hold more coins but you still need to dispose of it for close up magic
