Hi Guys,
I know this sounds an awful question to ask (so I am very sorry if you are reading this Shimada) but I have been hearing people say Shimada is dead. Is this true? thanks George |

I just talked to Luna (Shimada's daughter). He just left WGM for Paris... |

I believe he attended World Magic Semminar. Anyway my friend met him in Las Vegas one week ago.

I had the great pleasure of working with him at Abbott's a couple of years ago. A great magician and a wonderful person.
He had went through some rough times but seems to regaining his drive and enjoyment of life and magic. Nice to see him back working again.

If you get the chance to see him perform live, do it! I saw his acclaimed "Dragon Act" last year at Stan Kramien's Convention.

thanks for all of your replies but I live in England so the chance of me ever seeing Shimada perform is small. However, I am attending the World Magic Seminar 2007, does Shimada attend that? thanks George |

Nobody can predict 2007!
Don't miss him in WGM in Paris. You must be able to visit Paris and come back to England next day! But he will perform only Parasols, not Dragon in Paris. Hideo Kato |
