I've been working with a vanishing cane. There's a five dollar gimmick complete with weight for balance. It's pretty easy to perform and looks great when it vanishes.

Hi Jeb,
I believe you were asking who makes all the different floating items. canes, brooms, candle sticks, tables. I think you might be talking about losander. Here's a link http://www.losander.de I haven't tried any of his items personally, but other's have told me good things. No one else has mentioned it, but I have an Owen Dancing Cane, and everything they make is excellent. Hope this helps! ...... Manyfingers |

I have heard that you can get vanishing and dancing canes which gives a bit more structure to the routine. But for this you would have to buy one rather than make your own.

Losander's cane is excellent. It's light enough to use with the gimmick from the ITR.

I thought I read somewhere that Steven's had a new lot but they seem to be sold out - come to think of it, I might have read that a year ago. Does anyone have one they'd be interested in selling?

The DVD is amazing as well. Daves cane and DVD are both like nothing I have seen. I have owned a few canes before Daves, and they were...well...for lack of a better word, "poo-".
They were always off balance or slow to "dance." The gimmick was a hastle to manage and they weren't very "styilish." But Dave's Cane and Dancing Cane 101 DVD are amazing. The cane takes care of the gimmick itself and gives you a feel unique to this cane. The weight, the style, (and the new COLOR CHANGING CAPIBILITY) makes it an amazing cane. The DVD teachs you not only the history of the Dancing Cane effect, but how to use Dave's Cane and some AMAZING MOVES that will make your experience with a cane not only a good one, but help you make the cane really come to life. Just watch Dave's Demo. WOW! Honestly, I love this cane. I would recommend it and nothing else to anyone who is serious about a cane. Its Clean and Crisp. Enough Said. -Jacob

David Mann's DVD is awesome! Unfortunately, what intrigues me about the Mosher cane is that it looks like an antique gentleman's cane and this fact makes it much better suited into a particular storyline. Mann's cane looks great but it doesn't look old or wooden, though maybe that could be fixed with some paint.
There's one on an auction site so I'll see how that goes - I'll probably end up getting Mann's cane.
