Can anyone recommend a DVD or tape that teaches a good non-thumbtip bill switch?

Try this switch. I found this link in a post here at the Café a couple of weeks ago.

Roger Klause has one on a Video called "The Ultimate Slow Motion Bill Transposition." You might also check out Michael Ammar's "Easy to Master Money Miracles".

The very best video I have seen is by Michael Ammar, Classic Renditions on the Bill Switch. As a teaching tool, it isn't just great. It is excellent! You can find this older video sold on ebay, The Magic Auction etc. I highly recommend it.
Hope this helps. Renaldi |

The question was about a TT-less Bill switch, and as far as I recall, Michael Ammar never put a such one on any DVD he did put out, and he did put out quite a lot. In answer to the original question, one of the very best is Jarle Leirpolls, a demo can be seen at: http://www.leirpoll.com/pocket_video.htm

Sorry all, I read the question wrong. Mea culpa. Michael Ammar's version was with a TT. I will be more careful in the future.

Agree with Werner, Mr. Leirpoll has a version that looks just as good as the one done with the TT.
It's found in his Pocket Power Book/Video. Highly reccomended! Tons of other great material as well. Check and old but convincing demo here: http://www.leirpoll.com/video/view_bill.htm -e-

Richard Sander's Visibill ....
Beautiful handling as a bonus effect, you will learn a double bill switch (the bill changes two times before changing back) |

I use a modified version of Jay Marshal's no TT bill switch. It Absolutly blows magicians away...... they keep looking for the tt. As for the laymen the effect is the same. But it is nice to be able to do a bill change "Any where, any time" even when I leave the tt home.

I think Jay Marshall's switch (Down and Out) also appeared in the January 1986 Apocalypse.
Let's thank Tivoli as well for contributing his take and explanation of his own switch - admirably generous.

Oh right, Visibill uses TT (I didn't notice he was asking a non-TT version)
anyway, David Regal has a nice non-TT bill switch handling in his Old video series volume 2...(Tricks, more tricks...) |

Daniel Garcia s also have a nice no TT and very visual bill switch. The bill 2 has to be similar or bigger size than the bill 1.
