Hello!
just joined, I have been rerading this board for awhile now and I think its the best out there, very informative. By the way are there any fellow magi in philadelphia that would like to get togeather every week or two? Better yet are there any clubs I can join in the philadelphia area? any info would be a great help. |

Hi E9,
There are indeed chapters of both SAm & IBM in your area. The SAM is in NE Philly, and IBM meets on 'The Main Line'. There is someone here who co-leads the club for young magis, too. I am no longer in that area, but started out up there. Look for Bob Little's 1 day convention coming up on June 12th. (http://www.boblittlessupersunday.com) It is in Bensalem. Look under "The Little Darlings", and you will find "magic4u02"; he is from the area. Good luck, JM

Welcome to the Café. I wish this site and the internet were available when I first started magic back in high school and college. The only way back then to review magic tricks was to purchase it and see if it lived up to the description in the catalog. It would have saved me a lot of money that I spent on the worthless tricks.
Now, before I purchase a trick, I simply pose the question to the Café members or at least read all the threads on the subject. Welcome and enjoy the Café. |
