I've tried to send a thank you PM to a member and have recieved the following error: "ERROR: The user "i.e. for example" is currently not accepting "non-reply" Private Messages."
Looking through the preferences, I see no option that allows me to reverse the erroring function. What am I missing here?

The person who is on the receiving end of the PM gets to choose whether to accept the PM or not. The person to whom you're trying to send that PM has chosen not to accept any PM's except those that are in reply to a PM topic he or she started.
