Hi Y'all,
I just had this passed on to me so I'm posting it here for those interested. Best, Tim A handful of Canadian magicians are attempting to secure liability insurance for magicians and for variety performers in Canada. There would be 1 million dollars of coverage, and the estimated premium would be $400.00 per year. This is a fantastic price, and very close to what the IBM was offering before they dropped Canadians from their policy a couple of years ago. Even for part-time performers, the peace of mind of the coverage at this price is unquestionable. However, the broker that we are dealing with needs at least 100 names to take to his underwriter to "prove" that there are people interested in such a policy. Please note that by providing your name, in no way obligates you to purchasing the insurance; it is just to show the interest in such a product. The details of the policy are not yet known, because it is just in the proposal phase. If interested, as soon as possible, please email Jason Palter at jason@mystivate.com and be sure to Cc Richard Sanders at info@thatsimpossible.com. Include your name and email address, and indicate that you are interested. You will be added to a list, and if the policy becomes available, you will be contacted with the details and instructions on how to obtain it. Again, sending this information to Jason and Richard does not commit you to the purchase of any policy. If you have any questions, just give us a shout. Thanks! Best, Richard Sanders http://www.thatsimpossible.com info@thatsimpossible.com |

We just got our renewal notice from Steffanie Weiss at Clowns of the US and she stated that it was good in Canada, the U.S. and Peurto Rico. It cost US$180 a year for US$3 million in liability insurance.
