You mean paper that you can not tear right....
If so, you need to look for Tyvek. Any office store should carry Tyvek envelopes. Depending on the size you need, you should be able to cut it from there. |

I am trying to buy tyvek sheets but nowhere seems to sell it!
can anyone help? I don't fancy cutting up envelopes. and I believe tyvek is used for waterproofing and insulation roofs so it shud be avalible somewhere... also an effect I use called 'a grave mistake' is made in this stuff and it is impossible to tear... but where to find it? Steve Dela |

HP sells Tyvek banner paper. There is a link below. This is just an example...I am not recommending this seller. You can find it much cheaper that what they have it for. I am sure you should be able to find this in the UK.
Also check building and/or construction supply houses. It's not hard to come by here in the states. Worse case scenario, you can have it shipped. http://tinyurl.com/4ayhf |

What everyone is looking for is synthetic paper. This kind of paper is technically not paper (it contains no wood fiber), but a plastic film that looks and feels like paper. Synthetic substrates come in many different weights and are usually tear-resistant and waterproof. The best known synthetic paper is Tyvek, but there are other papers out there that feel much more like regular paper.
Synthetic paper does not come in pad form, which means you have to get regular sheets and cut them down to the size you need. It is also more expansive than fiber based paper. Leading synthetic paper brands: Yupo, Poly Art, Teslin. You might also want to look for Tyvek and Hop-Syn. Just do a search in Google. Synthetic papers are used to print manuals, book covers, menus, tags, labels, brochures, maps, business cards, etc. Just an idea: if you get your business cards printed on synthetic paper you can drop them in a glass of water and nothing will happen (ask for the right coating at your printer). You just take the card out, wipe it clean and hand it out. That will sure leave an impression.

I found no-tear paper at graytex.com. I needed 8.5 x 11 sheets and while it's fairly expensive, it is available. There are a variety of magic stores where you can find no-tear paper in 4 x 6 size pads.
