Right now penguinmagic.com is giving away a b2 bomber with ANY purchase. So you could get a color monte or stoplight cards for 2 or 3 bucks and still get the 15 dollar pen. Check it out.

Hey, Jordini. Thanks for the great info. I've never ordered anything from Penguin until just this minute. But, assuming they're reliable and trustworthy, I'll be getting an invisible deck AND a b2 bomber for a total of $5.49. Hmm, you know what they say about something that "seems too good to be true"...I wonder what the catch is going to be ;-)

The catch is that you have to order from penguin, and some people really don't like penguin, but it's cheap, and I'm poor, so there you have it.

Exactly, I would rather go to my local shop, but, their prices are very high on magic.

I can't find that offer on their site. Did I miss the deadline?

Well, I dunno, but I got my B2 Bomber pen in the mail yesterday and it's crappy. I mean, it's not that bad for free, but if I would've paid for it, I would've been mad, lol. I'm probably going to end up selling it on ebay or something, because the one I have used for a while is a whole lot better than this one.

No, it's dead. It ended Saturday (I think). On a side note, I received mine in the mail today. Not bad, but I like my Stealth Pen better. It's easier to handle.

True, Stealth Pen is easier to handle. Can't really explain why here, without giving away the secret, but if you're thinking about buying, go with the Stealth Pen.

I like the b2 bomber actually. Out of all the pen thru dollar gimmicks I have, this one can take the most scrutiny. I mean, my other two you can see where the...end...is gimmicked, and you have to hide it with your finger, or move it so nobody notices. This one you could look at all day and not find much of anything, unless you touch it of course, which is fine because you can hand it out afterwards. The stealth pen may be easier to handle, but I see nothing wrong with the b2 bomber. (especially since it was FREE!) My stoplight cards were crummy though so I'm sending them back. The end is cut funny and the stikers aren't on straight.

The Stealth Pen looks just like a papermate stick pen, which is less suspicious (IMO) than the black b2 bomber. But you're right in the way I can't complain. It was free! Well not exactly, I bought a cheap card wallet...and with the card wallet, I got a set of Ultimate 3 card Monte (not bicycle though ;_;)!!

I don't think it matters what kind of pen you use, because the heat is actually on the dollar. I've had maybe 2 or 3 people EVER want to inspect any pen I've ever used, and those were teenagers.

Might I ask what patter you use to take the heat off the bill? Whenever I perform this effect, they always want to see the pen.

Penguin Magic? Not in 100 years...not in 1000 years. I don't care what they are giving away. I spend over 20K a year on my magic, and that's one site I avoid like the plague.

If it goes through, it SHOULD be real, but the true test is whether you can pull the pen out without ripping the bill. Basically, any patter talking about the bill and it's special properties are key. If you say "Hey, I can jab this pen through a dollar" they get suspicious. |
