I'm just going to throw this out there and see if it sparks any ideas.
Effects involving a Roller Coaster, or a Trip on one. Any ideas? The best I've thought of so far is to hang around the booth selling those overpriced photo's of people on the coaster. Get someone to pick a card. After they return it to the deck point to the screen and one of the photo's show's someone holding up their card (possibly while screaming and hurtling downhill at 60mph). The person in the photo is not you, it's just some stranger. I'm pretty sure I have a way of doing an initialed card to video screen. It would take a little more effort than signed card to wallet. -MM |

If you have cables you could say "invisible rollercoaster" and throw in a few flips ( loops) etc..

Lance Burton did a great one. Tied to the tracks, he had to escape before the approaching roller coaster tore him to shreds! But I don't think you and me would want to try that one.

How about when the Roller Coaster comes into dock it has a large card attached to the front, it is the card chosen after the rollercoaster began its initial climb?

If you have the budget, do a vanish ala Copperfield's 13...
Or an appearance... As it goes through a tunnel at high speed, which would make climbing in or out impossible...

I've done in the past a drawing duplication on a Roller-Coaster!
It was the kind of toy with 2 different track on the same structure! So I take one train my participant take the other train! We start at the same time we go and at one point both train take their own track and start the ride... So the job was to make (the best they can) a simple drawing on a pad and hide it until the end! At the finish line we both show our drawing. The particpant made a small "frog" and I show mine... A very ugly drawing of a "Frog"! It was for a TV shot! I will re-shoot a new version of it this summer for a TV special! Kuffs P.S. Feel free to use it, just don'T do it on TV! ;-) |

My fav. rollercoast trick was "the trick with 1-2-3-4-5 cards"
and then you throw two cards away, and you still have 1-2-3-4-5 cards. Monkey Magic I think |
