Dave Bourne has been a friend of mine for a gazillion years. When I'm in LA I always visit him "at work" and spend a couple of hours talking about all that is going on at the Castle. I then am fully armed with the info I need as I walk the halls of that magical place.
Doing a gig like that with him must have been a delightful fantasy. You would expect Canada Bill to come wandering up at any moment. For those that don't know, Dave Bourne is the piano player on Deadwood. If you are looking for authentic piano music to underscore your old west monte or three shell routine this is the link you need: http://www.drewdaniels.com/saloonpiano.htm Professor T. L. Thanks Todd. Dave is a great human being, and a demon at the piano. Dave has been kind enough to let the S4S use his music as background music on our dvds. It is really fun stuff. |
