I own quite a bit of your material, Max, and I've never seen you use a nail writer. So I'm curious what your thoughts are on the gimmick.
Also, it seems the most common instructions that come with a nail writer is this: "Ask spectator to simply think of a number. Then ask them to tell you the number they're thinking of." I never understood this logic(think of a number. Now tell me what your thinking) and am curious what you think of it. Why not just ask them to shout out a number that comes to mind? One simple step. Thanks, Platt

I do not make use of that device (although, of course, I explored it in the past), for the simple reason that when working on stage it does not make sense for me to write something so small. Obviously, there are other performers who have not come to that conclusion, and get a lot out of it. So, I'm not suggesting that my attitude is one that should be adopted by others; it's simply my own inclination.
