I just picked up a nifty little prop at a local convention this last weekend and need help identifying it.
It is a cup and ball set made of wood that consists of two cylinders that nest, one inside the other. Both are chopped and have little indentations on top for the balls to sit in. I remember seeing one of these years ago in a shop and recall that the two balls that came with it were red crochet covered steel wool instead of the usual cork. Unfortunately no balls came with the prop but I suppose I could use a regular set. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? Pete, Bill anyone know the maker of this curious little prop?

This is a set of chop cups by Mikame. I have a set, but no instructions. They came with four balls 2 with cork and 2 with steel wool. There is a set on the cups and balls museum web site on the chop cup page. They are about halfway down the page.

I thought they might be Mikame but the guy who had them didn't think they were, which is why he sold them to me for $20.00.
Think I'll play around with Wonders two cup routine and see if I can come up with a variant of it for these. Thanks Bill
