I have found that the shuttle pass is also a very good way to switch a coin. Say a copper coin for a silver in a copper silver routine. Check out the David Roth Video's.

I hope this helps.

The shuttle pass is a very important move in coin magic. It can be found in any coin book.

Hmmmmm, I've searched page to page in Bobo's....can't find it there.

The "Utility Switch," which Jonathan Townsend points out earlier in the thread, is on page 11 of both editions of Bobo. It is a rudimentary version of the Shuttle Pass. The finesse of the Roth version is not there, but the basis is.

I missed it when looking through the book, because I simply looked at the index for the Shuttle Pass.

Mike,
it is not called the "shuttle pass". Bill is absolutely correct.
(You should read the whole book, not just skim through it) LOL

The utility switch, as I said, is similar, but it's not exactly the same. The shuttle pass as Roth does it, without giving away the store, is, to my way of thinking, much more natural and convincing.
