Hey Everyone,
I've been out of the magic scene for about 15 years but working on getting back into it. I'm a past member of SAM out of Racine Wisconsin. I'm going to work on strolling magic to start with. So if you have any ideas where a rusty magician should start I would be appreciative. Steven Have Coffee - Will Travel |

Hello Steven,
You might give a general indication of your skill level and interests. For example, if I point you to a bunch of beginner card stuff and you either hate cards or already have the beginner stuff and want to branch out, I haven't done you much good. With not much to work on, though, Id start with the Jim Sisti Magic Menu bound volumes. They give both theory and routines.
Was that meant to be edible?

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the direction. I am interested in card, coin and pocket tricks. It would be safer to start at beginner level. I do know that I want to stay away from any gimmick tricks. Thanks Again Steven |

Hi Steven,
Here's a suggestion, just scroll down to view all the topics at the Café and pick a favorite or two to start. The Café can be overwhelming your first couple visits but following a few threads is easier and soon you'll find yourself joining in the conversations. I have no doubt something will catch your eye and hold your interest and get your thought process going on which direction you'd like to pursue. Once bitten by the magic bug..sometimes it goes dormant for a few years...but always returns! Welcome and please don't hesitate to join in. |
