Do a search. I've heard all are of those are excellent. I know you can't possibly go wrong with the Whit Haydn DVD.

I stongly recommend the School for Scoundrels "Introduction to the Three Shells Game" which is probably the BEST resource for the three shells game. Whit Haydn, Chef Anton, and Bob Sheets put together this DVD which provides an excellent foundation of moves and shell technique. On this DVD you will learn Bob Sheet's aquipment as well as Whit Hayden's. Both are fantastic ways to show a full shell as empty. I cannot recommend this DVD enough.
Of the videos you mentioned, my second choice would be Bob Kohler's "Golden Shells" routine which is AWESOME! This is a great video and one of the best shell game routines. Bob's presentation is very engaging and overall the routine is pretty simple. It is a very well constructed routine. Bob Kohler's video plus the School for Scoundrels video compliment each other perfectly. My last choice is the Bob Sheets video which is a great advanced routine. Overall, I wish you the best! Kind regards, Rich |

Bob Kohler's "Golden Shells" is a great routine with easy to learn moves. If you want to perform a scripted routine quickly this should be your first choice.
Whit Haydn's DVD will teach you much more than you thought possible about the Shells. Think of it as College Shells 101 course. You'll learn more in the long run, but it'll take longer before you're ready to perform as it goes more into the individual moves and less on a routine. There is one basic routine taught on this as well. The rest is left up to you to develop on your own. Bob Sheet's DVD is good but rather short (only 18 minutes) He teaches some basics and one "move" that is his "signature" move. This move is also taught on Hayden's DVD. His routine is uniquely "his" and I doubt that very many people could duplicate it the way he does. So if you had to choose between Haydn and Sheets (who also contributes and demos on the Haydn DVD), I'd go for Haydn's first. If you just want an "out of the box" routine then go for Kohler's.

The School For Scoundrels DVD Volume 1 is very very strong. Whit Haydn and Bob Sheets cover all the basic moves of the Three shell game. There will be a few more DVDs coming out as well, as this is only the beggining. This serries is going to be very solid advanced, and will have an unassailable method for the Three Shell Game world-- I certainly can't wait for the next one.
Other than this DVD, Tom Osborne's book is also very good, and worth looking into. Good luck,

They are both very good, but I have to agree with Dave VanVranken's description of Whit Haydn's video.... it's the first one to get for shells, and in the same video Bob Sheets does his classic routine. Good investment! |

I Like bob kohler's the best. I have them all.
It's very structured which is exactly what a beginner needs to get started. Plus it has a lot of psychology taught which is also needed for the beginner. Start there, I say.
