Hi Mr. Fisher,
I have a question concerning reverse spreads. I know your friend Mr. Lee Asher has done a lot with reverse spreads including his Losing Control, Pulp Friction, and the Asher Twist. I know he even uses a reverse spread in the trick you and Lee worked on called Trey Sheik. I think that a reverse spread can be very powerful as a tool to develope relvolutionary ideas in card magic. Do you have any thoughts on reverse spreads in card magic? |

I think Lee's work of the reverse spread is nothing short of revolutionary. Of course, it all started when he applied the reverse spread to the packet half pass. His Asher Twist Started it all. I feel the best applications of the "Grave Turnover" are the secret ones. I know alot of people who do the twist well, including my friends Paul Wilson and Earl Nelson, and I have to say that Lee really does it like no one else. In his hands, its a miracle. For the rest of us, I recommend using the move as a beautiful clean up.
With regard to Pulp Friction, Lee has really put in the time and come up with monumental applications. He will be releasing this work soon on DVD. It's a serious advance in card technology, and will require serious hours to master. For serious students only. |
