So whats up with Penumbra anyways? It was almost a year since issue 8 came out. Will there ever be an issue 9 or what? I really like this magazine, and will hate to see it gone. The material is top notch, the editing and illustrations are superb.
Maybe Gordon Bean will read this (he is a member of the Café) and give an answear. And if there will be no more issuses, will there be a refound on the subscriptions?

Peo,
I had the privilege to participate in the Jennings website and I asked M. Goodwin what was happenning with Penumbra. He told me that he had to postpone everything in order to finish the LJ book Up in Smoke which he has completely re-written then helped in putting the website up. Now things should get back to normal and he will resume working on Penumbra........ If you go on the Genii forum he said that Penumbra subscribers have been very patient... Yves |

Mr. Olsson,
Hello. I must admit I'm a little confused. I have already emailed you privately answering the questions you pose here. Did you not receive it? Bill |

Hi Bill,
It would be really nice to hear something more about the future of Penumbra - it seems you've completed the Jennings project (and very good it looks too). Does this mean that an issue of Penumbra is the next priority ? Do you have any estimates as to when it might be complete ? Thanks, Jamie.

Hi guys. Yes, the Penumbra is my next priority and I am currently working on the next issue. I hate to give time estimates because I am invariably wrong (something Mr. Badman can readily attest to), but I'm hoping to have it to the printer in about a month. I have to write the whole issue, take the photos, lay it out, and then take it to the printer. Again, sorry for the extremely long delay.

Thank you for letting us now. Peronaly I breath a little easier now knowing that Penumbra still exists.

Shouldn't it be your FIRST (and not NEXT) priority if you have people who have ALREADY given you money for a subscribtion?

I'm looking forward to BJ's tabled shuffle seeing print in Penumbra.
