Hi all, just purchased Infinity Switch from http://www.hocus-pocus.com a new Bill Switch from Sean Fields.
As soon as it arrives and I check it out, I'll give you my review from a Restaurant performer's eye, and then from a Strolling magician's eye. Looks very nice on the video and (hopefully) will take place of my current TT switch. aaron Posted: Jul 2, 2005 10:16pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, just spent 2 hours with the DVD... First congrats to Hocus Pocus for getting it here so fast! Although this is a very visual change, and I will be working with it further, I will not be doing this tomorrow night or anything. One little thing about it that I am having some difficulty with, is that on the DVD he does it nice & smooth & good looking, but you'll notice the BORROWED bill has all the pre-creases in it that I find are almost needed for a smooth transition. I suppose you could borrow the bill and make the creases in it, then unfold it and begin the illusion, but that would seem odd I think... Wherever you are to perform this, you cannot have anyone behind you watching, so some strolling situations are out. I see no reason you couldn't do this at a restaurant, and hats off to Sean for adding a little "something" to a bill switch that gives the nice visual change that you see on the video clip. Bottom line: If you already do a bill switch with sleights or TT and you are happy with it, I see no reason to change now. But if you are looking for a more visual transformation and you are good at working hard with a new effect & sticking with it to the end, this may be for you. Good luck! aaron |

Yeah it looks pretty good. But at the moment I'm not interested, thanks for the review.

Thanks Smoke & Mirrors for your frank imprsssion on this. I decided to just use the switch method(s) that I already know and not venture into Infinity Switch. I'm so glad for all of you guys/gals contributions to the Café.

I do some mentalism..and a bill in lemon.. I'm gooing to use the INFINTY swtich to switch the bill for my bill in lemon instead of the sleight of hand I do now..
It's cleaner and more visual.. and no one ever needs to know a swtich was done. I think that's where the strenth in this lies.. |
