Much to my frustration, I read an ad for an effect thinking I'd check it out again later, but... the ol' Alzheimer struck as usual and I just have no clue where I read this ad nor what the name of the effect is. Here's what I do (think) I know:
It is a marketed effect, and I believe a fairly new one. It goes something like this; at the table, a participant is given a pen to point to something (possibly billets... but I think she pointed to objects). The selected item proves predicted. It is a multiple out thing and in the ad it stated that an advanced version had a surprisingly high number of outs possible - 12? 16?. I assume, because of the "she points with the pen", that the pen has something to do with this. Mr Generosity (Greg Arce) has already broken his back scanning both his mind and the net and suggested; "Mental Choice" (the oldie), Jack Deans "Objective" and "Synonymental"... but I don't think it is either. Suggestions? Thanks! |

Could it be Bill Abbott's Mind Control?

I would second the vote for the Bill Abbott effect. Especially considering that it has had a bit of buzz surrounding it lately.
You can find it at: http://www.thecentertear.com/?nd=full&key=2203 Hope that helps... |

Ronjo.com marketed a version of this effect called Intuition a while back. Basically 3 cards with 3 different colored symbols were placed on the table and tapped with the pen until a spectator called stop. A prediction was shown to match the color freely stopped on. It used 3 multiple outs, one being a message printed on the side of the pen itself. I don't know, however, if they still sell it. Best to check with Pete at the shop or visit ronjo.com.

Hello there, Pete from Ronjo Magic. The Intuition effect is long discontinued but we have two variations.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it was in deed the Bill Abbott variation! Thanks also for the references to other threads and other variations.
