I'm a parlor/stage magician and I wanted to get more into close-up. One of our distributor's has a 7 Volume DVD set on the a-z of card manipulation.
I ordered it and I was very impressed with it. It has great things from the very simple to the complex. I'm learning alot from it and I recommend it to all my customers. It's call Complete Card Magic. You can add it to the already good list of suggestions provided in this topic.

When I first started about three years ago,the first books that I read where "Now you see it, Now you don't" and "Pure Magic" by Henry Gross. Also "Impromtu Tricks From the Magic Castle" is a great book. Good Luck!
