I don't know your answer, I have never been into that sort of thing, but you might check out some of Harry Andersons stuff. He is quite good at that side of Magic.

Chappy Brazil's The Watch Steal Video is now on DVD. I highly recommend that DVD. It's probably the best resource on the subject. This should be in the video, DVD section.

Hello Joker 55.
Maybe I might be able to help. Stars of magic only covers a watch steal, and harry Anderson covers con gmaes not pickpocketing. Chappy Brazil's watchsteal is a great dvd to have, not only is the steals great, but the dvd version has tips from noted pros who do, or used to perform the watch steal. James Freedman's Stealing the show is a great video for doing a stage pickpocket show. He covers many different items that can be taken, unfortunately, not every situation you come across is going to be in suits and ties, but James covers them very nicely. Some books of interest. THeatrical pickpocketing by James Ravel Picking pockets for fun and profit by Eddie Joesph Complete course in pickpocketing by Peirre jacques. The last one was a hard one for me to find. But you might find it an easier one to find overseas. If you have any questions about pickpocketing, please PM me and I'll do my best to answer them. |

Apollo Robbins has some great stuff. Also, I think Scott Hitchcock released some information somewhere.....lecture notes maybe. Check McBride's site, he has some os Scott's stuff over there.
I hope this helps. Scott Compton
