Ive discovered that if you make you r loops or buy thme some aren't as invisible as you would want them to be.First off take whatever you are working with and anch or to something where it is taut. Now using fine grit sandpaper lightly sand it to take away soem of the shine of the thread. Another idea that might help is before sanding take a sharpie marker and lightly stripe little stripes all over the loop or it then sand it to take out the shine. This adds a camouflauge effect and helps to break up the putline. Hope this helps all you guys as much as it helped me.

I'd be afraid the sand paper would break the single strand of thread.

I just take a sharpie over mine. Wouldnt sanding it down make the loop weaker and easier to break. Also, the sanding would take a while.

If you use very fine grit sand paper. Like sand paper meant for car body work it shouldnt comprimise the loop in any way. Also Weepinwill I can do this to 5 or 6 loop s in about 1 or 2 minutes , its not that tedious. If you do use the sharpie make sure you use it before sanding so the sanding gets rid fo all the shine. One more thing this is only meant for black it not clear. Hope this helped all of yall.
