Mary,
I want to post a photo (not an avatar) with one of my messages but can't get it small enough. Using Photoshop I've reduced its size to .5" X .6" (38 X 48 pixels) and 72 dpi resolution and it still comes in at way more than 15 Kb. What do you recommend as to size and resolution for a jpg image? Dave |

Thanks, Jaz.
I opened the picture in ImageReady and its help screen directed me to a solution in Photoshop itself. It said to use File> Save To Web, click the 4-up tab and select my size and resolution from the samples offered. I used the "Quality" 60 as you suggested and was able to upload the picture to the Café's workshop forum. Thanks for the answer! Dave |
