So I lied. One more post - I guess I just can't let it go. Here is a weblink to get you started...doesn't explain it all but it'll get you going.
http://www.xboxweekly.com/features.php?action=show&id=84 Mad Mat, 25 is a very high level. According to Bungie, Halo 2 Rumble Pit only, level 25 and above represent only 19% of all players and level 35 and above is only 7% of the online population. I can tell you from experience (I'm a 38 in rumble) that at least a third of all player in rumber above a 35 got there by cheating or modding. If you want to get there you have to take every advantage (without cheating) that you can. |

You are quite a high level then, I don't play on it enough to get that high, I think in 18 in rumble, I used to play it alot, but I don't any more, I may try and get my 25 in it, cos I like the colous of 25, and even more of 32, but ill never reach that,
anyway whats ur gamertag guys, we'll have to meet up for some customs |

Erm... not sure what ur saying really, do you mean can you mod your xbox? If so then you will probably be banned for having a modded box.

That's much different than the tweaks Ranger was referring to. I can attest to Ranger's knowledge. He helped tweak my system and it's helped allot. I'm nowhere near his level. He is very good. He has even showed me ways to (without cheating) score sniper rifle head shots without even aiming at a player's head, dodge a sword lunge every time, take the sword from another player, and get into the most incredible sniper locations on the map. It's doubled my level in a few weeks (I'm a 20). I don't think he plays custom games anymore and almost never accepts friend requests or clan invites. But you can find his gameplay tips videos floating around online. He'd have to tell you where. At the end of one of Ranger's games, say rumble pit, it's not uncommon for him to take first place with 25 kills, only die five or so times, only shoot 50-75 rounds with 70% hits, score 7-8 headshots, and have 19 medals! The guy rocks. The best thing I ever learned from him is to look for cheap kills. Stay on the outskirts and watch everyone else. When you see two, three or more people in battle it's nade time. Always follow a plasma nade with a human nade and use melee attacks every chance you get. I took his advice and re-assigned my controls so now pushing the right joystick is a melee attack and not scope in. This way I don't have to take my thumb off of the joystick at a critical time. Take care!

Cool,
I know several glitchs to get into great sniper spots, (r you talking about superjumps? cos that's what I know) Also I can do that sniper thing (if its the thing where you shot then quickly push it across their body/head, but I don't know some of those glitchs. 38 is pretty impressive, I just looked up on the leader boards, you must be one if the ones who are about 20 in the world. Whats your gamertag, we'll have to play some games together. |

Funny Bill. I'll get you back!!! Please don't flood me with PMs. Spend 10 minutes on the internet and you'll find all this and more. I invented none of it and I doubt if I was even the first to discover any of it.
Clan match tonight Bill. 7:40 with the boys from down under. |

Whos bill? I assume its william above me. I'm not going to flood you, I knwo you can get em on the internet, but I don't like glitching in matches, its basically cheating. I only superjump in customs.

It's not glitching. I do not do superjumps - ever. Nor do I grab a flag through a wall, standby my modem, mod the maps, etc.
Things like sword dodging and sniper aiming, jump slides and pump jumping are part of the game - they are not glitches because Bungee built them into the code. Without ever superjumping you can get on the wheel in Zansabar, trees in Ivory Tower, roof in Midship, ribs in Burial Mounds, etc. |

They sound like glitches too me unless the sniper reference you state is a real world algorithm. ie. you would have too take into account distance and adjust elevation too match the range.
When I ask about console I mean can you activate a programming console where instructions can be entered. You may wish too lower the amount of polygons in the models or reduce the duration of decals on the map.

No I don't think so without hacking it.
The sniper one is if you are like quickly moving the crossheir across someone and you press it before it crosses them if that makes sense, its sort of an autoaim thing. I'm not really sure it that one is a glitch or not, its debatable |
