Has anyone done this effect for a laymen, its a revelation of a mearly thought of card it can be found in Card Zone by Peter Duffie and Jerry Sadowitz..i have to say it'a an amazing trick! I recomend everyone to look it up and give it a shot.

Reis, you make 3 piles of 10 cards...a spectator takes one pile fans it out in from of them (your back is turned of course)and they just think of a card..the packet is lost among the otehr two pile a joker is added to it and the deck is cut a few time.. the joker acts as a computer programmer so thenn a "few moves " later the card the spectator merley thought of is revealed by either two means.

Yeah, I performed the effect to the laymen quite sometimes ago, got huge reaction from the laymen. Thanks for reminding again which I am going to perform this effect which I laid aside quite sometime ago.

Yes, about the cardzones magic book by Duffie and Sadowitz, the effects inside of the book are just awesome but sometimes I found out that the illustrations went missing, but not a big deal for me, but yet, I am still managed to get through all the effects.

Anytime a spectator can simply think of a card, the effect just seems so much more impressive.

Wow there are so many andrew...like "inside job" passing the time" I actaully learned how to do the victor change from there...get the book you wont be sorry

My personal favourite is The Backwards Card Trick, very offbeat!

Cards on the Table is also worth a look by Sadowitz, some very creative and original card magic in there.

Yes, Sadowitz's card on the table is an awesome book as well, a number of the effects seemed original.

In the Cardzones book, I always perform Peter Duffie's "World's Apart", I performed this and have been fooled many magicians around. I love this effect and really enjoy performing it.

I purchased Cardzones today from Martin Breese, along with Subtle Miracles, and Diamonds from the Coal. Im a big fan of Duffie
