Some o' the other magicians me know said this be a pretty cool place. Been checkin' things out for a while an' thought it be time to sign yer articles an' come aboard. So an introduction be in order says you? Very well says I!
I go by the name Captain Jack Bartholemew. It used to be just Captain Jack. Started usin' that name about 5-6 years ago but when POTC came out, figured it be time to get a last name so I wouldn't be accused of tryin' to copy Disney. Me wife & assistant is Nyre (pronounced nigh-ree). Our anchorage be Sacramento, California, USA. Naught only a magician says I, but also a pyrate reenactor. Crewed on a tall ship (The Royaliste) out of the bay of Saint Francis for a couple of years. Now me just does pyrate reenactments with one of the local guilds (Tales of the Seven Seas). Don't know wot much else to say, so in 17th century pyrate tradition, I kick the hogs head down the plank to welcome me new mates! The rum be in the galley...an' for the powder monkeys, the soda be in the forward hold.
Every man be a fool for 10 minutes each day. The trick is not in exceedin' the time limit!
Properly warned ye be, says I! |

Hi Captain Jack and Nyre,
I loved your introduction!!! I've greeted thousands of newcomers to the Café and your bio stands out. We don't get many pirates here but as long as you behave yourself you're welcome into the galley. Pull up a comfortable chair, grab yourself a soda and be prepared for lots of informative reading. You may have to take off the eyepatch and leave your sword at the door. Don't hesitate to post and welcome to the Café. |

Ahh thankee mates! I will do my best to adhere to the Queens English (etiquette policy *long words for a humble pyrate*), although real hard, 17th century English is more second nature for me.
I'll do my best to behave *looks around to see who's watching*

Now, if I pour some of that rum into my coffee, none will be any the wiser! |
