Firstly my apologies for the post here, but I could not find an appropriate forum.
I was recently given a couple of copies of the Magic Magazine, which I really have enjoyed reading. (http://www.magicmagazine.com) I was wondering what other magic magazines are out there that people can subscribe to, and what are everyone’s favourites. Thanks in advance |

I subscribe to Mind Over Magic (www.tctahoe.com I think) which I like a great deal. It's mental and bizarre themed though.

Can these magazines (Genii in particular) be purchased anywhere aside from subscribing or through the internet.
I know Barnes and Noble has a huge selection of magazines from all over the world, but I can never seem to find a Bowling Magazine or a Magic Magazine. I have a subscription to Bowlers Journal, and just wanted to preview a few Magic Magazines before subscribing!!! DN

Great news. Its now possible to buy and download directly the magazine MAGICSEEN as a pdf file for instant download for only 5.9 dollar:
http://www.trickshop.com/magicseen10.html (5.9 dollar) --- Issue No. 10 - September 2006 In the current issue, the cover story introduces you to Paul Kieve. In addition to being Harry Potter's personal tutor, he is also responsible for all of the special effects in the upcoming West End stage production of "Lord of the Rings." There are also interviews with Sean Carpenter, stage hypnosis "bad boy" Jonathan Royle, and with up and coming young magician, Matt Edwards, in a new occasional series called "Ones To Watch." Want more? This issue of magicseen also brings you an update on Paul Zenon's latest performances at home in the UK and around the globe, an interview with Paul Squires about his new magic documentary, "Ever So Sleightly," and details on Pete Firman's new book. There's also an article by Martin Haderer on the "Magic of Austria," along with an "Austrian Masterclass" featuring effects by Wolfgang Moser, Harry Lucas and Romi (Roman Feli). But wait, we're not finished yet! There's still more…like new trick reviews, letters to the editor (Letterbox), loads of dealer ads (be the first to see the latest releases from the top dealers in the UK and Europe), an article by Brian Caswell on the creative side of magical innovation, a start-up guide to working with "cards," and in the "Dealer's Booth," Jim Sisti, Richard Osterland and L&L owner Louis Falanga on the success of his magic DVD empire. Most important of all, magicseen is extremely well written and just plain fun to read. Need we say more? 68 pages, A4 format (8.27" x 11.69"). If you're going to output to a US desktop printer, specify "Fit to paper" for Page Scaling in Adobe Acrobat's print dialog box. Approximately 15 MB in size, so this publication is best downloaded from a high-speed Internet connection (DSL, cable broadband, T1, etc.). Requires Adobe Acrobat or the FREE Acrobat Reader (version 5.x or later). http://www.trickshop.com/ http://www.magicseen.co.uk/ |

Anyone know of any good magazines for mentalism. I don't subscribe to any magic magazines yet, but I would like to get one that covers some mentalism.

Both "Genii" and "Magic" magazines can be picked up at most magic shops, but the supply doesn't last long. Get them while they last! With a subscription you don't have to worry about missing any issues.
