Anyone have this one or buy it? I have always liked the idea of a snowstorm from the hands but they have always cost +$100. This one is 60 and is powered by a foot switch.

Derek,
If I'm not wrong, with this product, the snowstorm appears from above/behind you, not from your hands. It too caught my eye, until I read that part. Good luck! Logan

Well I guess that too could work for my case. I would just like to use it to cover a costume change... I am wondering if it will get too tangled up in the costume... Still interested though.
I didn't see where it said it comes from behind you. I will read the description again. Derek Merdinyan |

Even if the snow is in front of you the shower should be really intense for a few seconds. The shower from a KJ snow animator for example is not sufficient to realise a costume change. The falling glitter effect to bring about a costume change was created and made famous by the Duo Sudarchikovy. David and Dania are the only other people who have the permission to perform this effect one to one! |

It says you could also put corn starch in the device to create a fog. I am wondering if it comes from behind you and then you step back into it...
Also, I have read descriptions on several sites and I have yet to read that it comes from behind you. Is this something on the body? I don't care if it comes from behind me or infront of me, it just has to be something I can walk around with. Derek Merdinyan |

Hanklee is having a 25% off sale right now and if this item is valid for the sale, I am jumpin on it right then. I sent them email a couple hours ago and I am waiting for a reply. I will let you know if the sale is valid for those who may be interested.

Both Hocus Pocus and Hanklee's are having a 25% off sale. Who should I go with? lol

Just picked it up. The construction is actually quite professional.
Like anything else, if you are going to use it its absolutely worth the price. But do yourself a favor and make sure you have a place for it in your act. The unit is made of metal and very sturdy plastic. There are two small particle board pieces on a part of the unit and mine fell off in only two minutes. But the unit is self-contained and does what it says it will do. Remember this is a utility/theatrical special effect, by itself it is not in any way magical. Oh, and to clear up any confusion this is a stand alone prop that will be on the floor or in a prop. It is not something that is body loaded.

Can someone give me rough dimensions for this prop?
