Which direction do you turn the cups as you set them down on a table during a cups and balls routine? I have been turning them with the mouths of the cups pointed to my left as I set them on the table. However, isn't there value in turning them back towards you? But does this look as natural? What do you think?
Please answer here if possible--if not possible, then please PM me. Thanks-- Flimnar

If the direction of the turn would expose anything undesired, then altering that is a possible solution, so long as it does not create its own set of problems through unnaturalness. In other words, you pretty much answered your own question.

I put the cups down mouth towards the audience, towards myself, to the left and to the right. It depends on which hand you are using and what your doing that makes you have to put the cups down. (In other words why are you doing it?)
Basically IMO there are no wrong answers- unless of course your exposing something which would be wrong.

I've never even considered that question! Running through my routine I see that I do it in all four directions.

I feel like I'm not in the club. I don't think I turn my cups at all.
What am I missing here.

Cups? You are supposed to use cups?
