I was interested in this effect and I was wondering if anybody had an opinion on one that is worth the money.

I use Mike Power's VIP in combination with a raven. You can get it directly from Mike:

VIP is a fantastic and very practical cap in bottle. The set-up is easy, you can use any bottle and cap and all you need is 3 minutes and you're set. The routining is excellent and you're provided with everything you need to perform the effect. It does what it says - you take a bottle, give it to a spec to hold horizontally, you place the cap on the label then bang... the bottle is clean to be handed out as a souveneir.
One thing I was worried about was the 'vanish' of the cap, it didn't want to use a Raven so I didn't know how clean I'd be at the end. Suffice to say the clean up even without the Raven is excellent and you've got tons of misdirection. I'd think about how you'd present it as a street effect as its not as easy as taking someone else's bottle and just doing it. Also somewhere on the magiccafe, Mike decribes how he combines VIP with The Rey Ben version. This is definitely worth a look. |

Whassup from Daniel Garcia's Next Lecture notes is quite a nice impromptu cap in bottle effect that might be worth checking out.
