Eric, the performace and expanation, in the Stars Of Magic video, of the Card in Wallet Routine with your tips for loading that type of wallet was worth 100 times the price of the video. Thank you for sharing such a professional routine.

Glad you got you got some use out of the technique. Do you do the routine from the video? If so, do you do it with the deck vanish? Eric DeCamps |

Eric, I think the deck vanish is one of the most deceptive aspects of the routine. It would be difficult to have learned it from a printed routine. Seeing you do it and your detailed explanation made it crystal clear.

In honor of your visit here, I picked up the *s of magic video. Loved the card to wallet. One of the best routines I've seen for that effect.
Great job, Eric. Frank

Cool, please let me know if you ever decide to use any part of the routine in you work. I would really like to know how it goes for you. BTW, I have performed that routine on stage and believe it or not it garnered a very strong reaction in a large 1,000 seat theater. Eric DeCamps |

That's absolutely amazing!
I have used your idea for the loading of the card in my other routines. I could never get it right until I saw your tape. What I really like about your performances are that you are very bold and do things that take real men to do. LOL Thanks for all the inspiration, Brad

I will let you know eric. I've been searching for a great card to wallet. I've tried a few. Nothing seems to suit me, to date. My favorite to date is Simon Lovell's "Packed Wallet" which is quite easy, very entertaiing, amazing, but is not impromptu. Other times, I do it at the spur of the moment. Nothing planned.
This reminds me of Simon's due to the deck vanish. Quite a surprise. I just need to watch the explaination to see how the damm thing was done. A question about the presentation.... Since you're wagering the contents of your wallet, does it make sense that you vanish the deck intentionally? Or shoud it be a surprise to you, as well as the audience, that it's gone? It seems, perhaps, that the vanish should be accidental, as you are trying to make the card appear, to keep your money. If I remember, you snap your fingers and the deck is gone. why do you snap your fingers? I'm just trying to understand the details. Thanks again, Eric. Frank

I use the pretext of locating under a veil of darkness use that as the justification to cover the deck with the silk handkerchief. You are correct, the vanish is a surprise to the performer and the snap just emphasizes the moment that the magic happens. BTW, if you do not want to vanish the deck, you can doe the entire routine without it. As you go to find the last card just inform the audience that you will do this still without the use of the deck. Put the cards back in the box and just place the boxed deck away. Ask the spectator for the name of the final card and then finish the routine the way it is on the video. This is one way of the three ways that I use to finish this routine. Hope this helps.
