It holds standard size business cards. 3.5" x 2" I think.
I agree with the others. It's not a necessary thing, and it won't do anything you can't do with a rubber band. But I want to be seen as a professional, and a leather case is much more elegant than a broccoli band. Even if I weren't doing magic, I would want something like this as my business card holder. And in fact, I do use it as my standard business card holder, even when I'm not using the OTL principle built in. I like the idea of carrying other things in it, too. I'm in the process of reconsidering how I'm handling my pocket management, so I'm definitely going to give that some consideration.

Doc Eason's clip is called the "Out To Dinner Clip". Classy clip for business cards. you can see it at Rocky Mountain Magic Shop. He also sells the Stockholders book. http://doceasonmagicshop.com/oscommerce/......cPath=30

You can always go for calling your many leather goods by different names.
Like: Wallet Business card case Secretary wallet Money Clip Check Book Passport Case These are items many business men carry with them all the time. Yes, I have all these types of leather goods that are made for different magic effects. |

I like my Stockholder wallet so much that I wore it out. I ended up going to a local leather worker and having him make me a new one with a pen holder included. I use it all the time for both the stockholder principle as well as my regular business cards. There are so many things you can do with business cards (billets, predictions, etc) that my stockholder wallet is something I use nearly every time I do a full magic set (three to four effects) for people. I may not always use the out to lunch principle, but there are so many additional things you can do with your business cards, that it always comes out at some point.
I am not suggesting that people figure out how to make a wallet for themselves instead of purchasing the original. Quite the contrary in fact. The book that comes with the stockholder is full of great ideas, so I would recommend buying it along with the wallet. The wallet itself is somewhat useless without the knowledge on how to use it. The book and wallet together are a great value. Paul |

How much does it retail for? Anything with Greg's name on it commands my attention.

If you are a street magician I would say use the rubberband. Oops, I see that someone already mentioned this. Oh well.

I prefer Stockholder rather than "Out To Dinner" since it is more space with Stockholder to store your bussines Card and other Packet Tricks
I use Stockholder to perform an Old Effect called "Fortune and Faith"

Is this a knock off of the Stock Holder. No opinions please only FACTS. If you don't know for sure keep it to yourself.

I don't know that knockoff is the right term, but it clearly isn't Greg's item since the price is so much lower and his name doesn't appear in the ad copy anywhere.

I agree with Andrew. Besides, most (though not all) ad copies for Stockholder do not show the inside of the wallet, and usually show the wallet next to the companion booklet.
